Dr. Emma Kironde

Ph.D.

Right here, right now I want you to know you’re seen and supported.

I believe that reaching your hand out and seeking therapy support is an act of bravery. It’s in this space together where you can experience what it's like to go from existing in your day-to-day, to feeling completely and wholeheartedly alive in each and every moment.

Maybe you’ve found yourself here to help carry the stress, anxiety, or questions you’re running up against that have you wanting to know more about who you are and what’s next. Life can look fine from the outside looking in, and those invisible weights can be hard to talk about when you’re trying to keep it all together.

It’s through warmth, empowerment, and deeply human space that those weights begin to make sense and get a little bit lighter. I know in my heart that I’m living in my purpose when clients share that they feel both seen and accepted with me. Understanding is something we talk a lot about as therapists, but to know it's felt authentically and genuinely is everything I could wish for our time together.

I believe healing happens in community, when you can bring your whole self into the room (messy parts, hopes, fears, humor, and all). We’ll hold space for all of you, make sense of the patterns that keep you stuck, honor the resilience that’s already within you, and find ways forward that feel sustainable with everything else you’re navigating.

I love working with adults of all ages, especially those navigating life transitions, anxiety, depression, men’s issues, work stress, cultural identity questions, or relationship struggles. I also have specialized experience working with Veterans, and I introduce a multicultural lens to our time, shaped by having lived on three continents. These experiences taught me just how connected we all really are and how powerful it is to be seen in your uniqueness while also belonging to something bigger.

You can expect me to meet you with perceptiveness, humor, and curiosity. Yes, we’ll do the deep work, but we’ll also laugh together. I believe therapy doesn’t have to be heavy all the time to be meaningful, and that’s what makes it life-giving.

Some additional specialty areas that hit close to my heart also include:

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Grief and loss

  • Relationships and attachment

  • Work stress
