Caring for the Sandwich Generation: Balancing Work, Life, and Aging Parents

sandwich-generation

The Sandwich Generation is defined as adults in their 30s to 50s "sandwiched" between competing caregiving roles. This often involves tending to their own families as well as aging parents.

Multiple caregiving roles is a work of heart and it is okay to feel overwhelmed, tired, and emotionally charged while doing it. This workshop is a space created with you in mind, to bring back empowerment around your mental and emotional well-being with the guidance of MT therapist, Kellie Klinck.

By taking these 60 minutes, we will help you set aside your role as a caregiver and focus on yourself. We hope to create a space where you feel deeply understood, acknowledged, and supported. Together with those who are walking through similar experiences, we'll all leave with new insights and practical tools to navigate the complexities of this life stage.

*This event draws insights from the Mayo Clinic, American Association of Retired Persons (AARP), books such as "Burnout” by Amelia Nagoski, “Mindful Self-Compassion” by Dr. Kristin Neff, as well as personal experiences.

Register below and we’ll share the Zoom link- it’s that easy!
