“Madeline is amazing! I transferred to Madeline while Meredith was on maternity leave, [and previous to that, I’d been to] another therapist outside of the practice. She took me in as a client and the transition was practically seamless - a few opening questions and right into the work.

It’s abundantly clear that Modern Therapy is one hell of a special place. I thought I struck gold with Meredith as my therapist but after working with Madeline, it’s evident that all the therapists at MT are talented at what they do. It doesn’t even just stop at the therapists because I reached right out to the contact page and Anne was amazing too! She took the time and care to understand what I needed and what my schedule was like. She paired me up with Mere initially which was a 100% success. Then with Madeline too. Also 100% success.

Madeline made me feel seen and cared for and just understood me from the start. It was easy to open up to her and talk through all the issues I was working through. She fostered a comfortable environment where it felt safe to open up, even about the hard things. Madeline also just really knows her stuff. She taught me a bunch about different therapy/psychology terms but relayed the information in a way I could understand and apply. Madeline’s attention to detail is unreal. She would often bring up things I’d say from the first session into the current and flawlessly connect the dots. I swear she remembers things I forgot I even said ha-ha. We only worked together for ~3 months but I learned a lot and grew from the experience.

I’ve chosen to transition back to working with Meredith, but it wasn’t as easy a choice as I thought it would be, which is telling of how wonderful a therapist Madeline is. It was for sure a bittersweet last session. Meredith, Madeline, Modern Therapy…without a doubt the best people and best practice. I will continue to sing MT’s praises to all my friends and family. Y’all truly are one of a kind :)”
