Creating Space for Grief | A Painting and Processing Experiential with Modern Therapy and Artist Leslie Gaworecki

  • Modern Therapy 1404 Allston Street Houston, TX, 77008 United States (map)

When our surroundings get loud, we know it’s time to get quiet with ourselves. As we move into the winter season, we wanted to take some time to slow down. Particularly on the topic of grief, it often emerges when we’re moving through times of change, loss, movement, and when our survival instincts are in full force to get through the immediacy of harder times.

Wherever you are on your life path, we’d like to invite you to pause with us and make intentional room for grief as we collectively slow down and reflect on where we’ve been this year. You may find yourself surprised by what grief and loss has been right under your feet this year as you’ve been doing your best to be a fully functioning and thriving person. Let’s slow down together and reconnect with our full selves.

Known for her “happy hearts”, Leslie will be taking the group through an abstract painting experiential that will help us tap into the more bittersweet side of things.

This event is free. We’ve filled our in-person spots, but would love to have you join us virtually. Register below and we’ll share over all the information you need- it’s that easy!

The world could use more spaces for grief right now and we’re happy to contribute. If you’re joining us online, we’ll send you a supplies list so you can join from the comfort of your own space.
