At Modern Therapy you are held at any moment you’re needing more support before, between, and after your session cadence.

We created our mind body grounding sessions to give you a nurturing space to address how stress and emotions may be living in your body and find relief with self care and regulation methods to access whenever you need them.

Accessing regulation is available anywhere you are through virtual sessions

Our mind body grounding sessions are available to you wherever you’re able to log on and join our Mind & Body Wellness Coach through video. There, we’ll explore how your body might be experiencing emotions, anxiety, and stressors as physical symptoms, sensations, and changes. Instead of talk therapy or coaching where you’d process the stress in detail, this session aims to offer you relief through a plan of actionable self care approaches to regulate your nervous system that we’ll practice together. That’s what makes this time so valuable paired with regular coaching, therapy, or mental health support.

Think about a 50-minute grounding session like a yoga class where you can release without having to dive into the details, and feel the peace and judgement-free space of a coach who can guide you to simple and approachable ideas tailored to you and your lifestyle.

A Mind Body Grounding Session is great for anyone who is looking for:

  • Feeling at peace in their body while navigating anxiety, stress, or a heavy emotional load

  • Ways to regulate their nervous system and manage stress load in the day-to-day routine

  • Maintenance between therapy or coaching sessions to feel grounded and regulated

Here’s what a mind-body grounding session looks like:

  • We’ll start by exploring the specific symptoms, shifts, and signals that you can feel in your body in moments of stress, anxiety, and big emotions

  • As you begin to tune into your body, we can interpret these body shifts as messengers that give you more clarity about what you might need to feel grounded again

  • We’ll talk about impactful and simple somatic, mindfulness, and self care practices to try together in session, and slowly build your toolkit

  • Together, we’ll arrive at practices that align to the way you want to feel and can be there for you at various moments of your day-to-day routine to build resilience against big stressors and support your nervous system regulation

HELPFUL INFO TO BUILD CONFIDENCE BEFORE YOUR SESSION:

  • Mind Body Grounding Sessions are offered at 50-minutes or 80-minutes with Jess Woloszyn, Mind Body Wellness Coach (see rates here)

  • You can join from the comfort of your home or anywhere you’d like to be for our virtual sessions

  • There is no minimum requirement of sessions, so you can schedule them as you need them, try just one to start off, or continue diving deep with regular grounding to build that consistent sense of self care and peace within your body
